Once they are all downloaded try to join.
You may want to clear your download cache in the Steam settings first.
any success? I am running into the same issue
Necroing this old thread is pointless for many reasons. "Same" symptoms does not mean the same causes.
Make your own thread and:
1. Go to the steam help menu, click "system information" and copy paste all that in your new thread so folks can see what steam detects for your rig and any possible discrepancies.
2. List all mods that server is using.
3. Make sure you also go to the battlemetrics website, search for that modded server and make sure its actually up(check its stats page).
It is better to play on server with no mods becuase mods destroyed ark long time ago.
You need to wait until the mod has installed.
Exit ark.
Use steam to download.
Start ark.
Look down the bottom right main menu.
Wait for the install notice to go away.
Then go into SP and setup your instance.
