Trianglular problems
So I've been making a house with a sloped roof and making the thing has been going all well and good.. until I ran into a problem ( mostly cosmetic/aesthetic, but it bothers me all the same ).

Basically, on the second floor of the house there's some rooms which end up naturally reaching the roof and so you'd think "Well, I'm gonna need triangular pieces to plug these ones", which is exactly what I did - or tried more specifically and this is where the problem comes in.
See the screenshot:

Now I tried this with S+ and regular ones and neither worked. Then out of curiosity I tried with Wood Wall, and surprisingly:

Yet not surprisingly it also comes through.

Is there any way to make that triangle bit just fit where I'd like it to or is there any other piece of wall/roof/something that'd fit there and not leave a gaping hole with sloped rooves?

TL;DR: Sloped roof leaves triangular holes when indoor walls hit the roof itself. Plugging them is needed.

For whatever reason I wasn't having this issue until a few weeks ago, if I'm understanding correctly. You have to place the sloped wall before the sloped roof, otherwise you'll need to demolish/pick up the roof, place the wall, then replace the roof.

Huh, that's kind of silly. I'll try that though, thank you
Awesome, man. That worked. Thank you plenty.

No problem!
I know for a fact that this wasn't an issue before, I've placed many sloped walls with the sloped roof still constructed above them, but some recent update must have done it in.

As a side note... do you have no collision enabled?
That could very well be, Xenulus.

Vesu, nope, I do not. Actually, I wouldn't know how to enable that in the first place.

Also, is there a button with S+ for changing the "rotation"(?) of the things you're putting down? For example as it were with the fences, it was saying to use G to change snap points. Now when you're putting down something like walls, the arrow that's pointing in the specific direction that the wall is facing, is it possible to turn it essentially 180 to point the other direction?

So say you have a Wood Wall with the bark side facing you, then you'd like to place one down with the inner side of the wood facing you as well on top of the previous wall, how'd you rotate that, or can you?
I'm asking, because I'm having little problems with setting the sloped triangle roof bits at the very top of the roof and I only manage to get one piece proper, but the other is facing the wrong way ( which I'm sure is because of the wall below it facing the direction that the sloped triangle wall is trying to face ) so I'd like to spin it 180, so it'd be facing the right way around

I get this all the time... there used to be a flip option... but im not sure if its there anymore.... you just have to cycle snaps... change camera angle... and often attempt to snap it to the Wrong snap for it to snap back in the right place.

Singleplayer or server

Game.ini

bDisableStructurePlacementCollision=true

To turn off collision.
I haven't seen any flip options at least, and I'm not aware of any buttons at least that'd do it. Snap cycling so far has only appeared with fences as far as I've seen, so it sounds like just going for different camera angles seems to be the way to go.

Non-dedicated server. I'll try look for that [Edit] Found it, thank you. I shall see about it in-game. [/edit]
