Questions regarding bosses
Hello,

Long story short, I'm a solo player and I'm slowly working on getting ready to face bosses, but I have a few questions.

I read on the wiki "To reach these locations, players must go to either a Supply Crate or Obelisk and place the required tribute items insid" but when I access supply crates I don't see any option to summon a boss? Does it actually appear if I send the required artifacts inside the beacon?

And well second question, how doable are bosses as a solo player? With single player setting on. The first boss I intend to fight is, well, the first boss AKA the broodmother.

Thanks already.

Single player mode changed on the Island for 1 boss at each obelisk. I don't remember which colors are which boss.

I think you can only upload items and dinos at the loot drops to pick them up at another loot location or the obelisk, or another map but you can't go to a boss fight directly from the loot drop. You can upload them and then go to the obelisk yourself and download them there. Yes, the boss fights are doable on single player settings. Raise up well imprinted and mutated rexes and or theris for at least the brood mother and the megapithicus. I haven't done the dragon yet. I am still mutating for better dinos for that one.

I think loot drop upload/download was removed from SP

The loot beacons/drops cannot be used to summon to boss fight in SP. So yes, you have to bring your fight group over to the Obelisk for the boss you want to fight. (on The Island green obelisk = broodmother, blue obelisk = Megapithecus, red obelisk = Dragon)

And yes, you can do all the bosses solo in SP mode. I did all of them at all three difficulty levels, right up to Alpha. Megapithecus is the easiest, Dragon is the hardest. (IMO) The fights are quite a bit easier if you can get a high quality (armor level) saddle blueprint to make for your main boss-fighting dinos. Personally I got a couple of max level rexes and therizinos, bred them until they had the best stats of both wild parents. and I took in 19 rexes and 1 Yuty for me to ride for the broodmother and Megapithecus. And I did 19 Therizinos and 1 Yuty for me to ride when I fought the dragon. The only stats to worry about for your boss fight group are melee and health. It is a pain to breed up really good rexes, hatch 19 or more (some will likely die so you will need replacements for future boss fights) and level each of them up to have really high health and melee. It is time consuming, but you definitely can do it solo.

If you have the "use singleplayer mode" checked, then I would shoot for at least 600% melee, and then between 30k to 60k health, depending on your saddle quality on the rexes. I think my therizinos were in the 30k to 40k health range with 80 armor saddles, and on the Alpha dragon fight 12 of the 19 therizinos died. Similar result happened with my rexes that had 53 armor saddles when i fought the alpha broodmother. Over half of them died. The alphas are no joke.
