And yes, you can do all the bosses solo in SP mode. I did all of them at all three difficulty levels, right up to Alpha. Megapithecus is the easiest, Dragon is the hardest. (IMO) The fights are quite a bit easier if you can get a high quality (armor level) saddle blueprint to make for your main boss-fighting dinos. Personally I got a couple of max level rexes and therizinos, bred them until they had the best stats of both wild parents. and I took in 19 rexes and 1 Yuty for me to ride for the broodmother and Megapithecus. And I did 19 Therizinos and 1 Yuty for me to ride when I fought the dragon. The only stats to worry about for your boss fight group are melee and health. It is a pain to breed up really good rexes, hatch 19 or more (some will likely die so you will need replacements for future boss fights) and level each of them up to have really high health and melee. It is time consuming, but you definitely can do it solo.
If you have the "use singleplayer mode" checked, then I would shoot for at least 600% melee, and then between 30k to 60k health, depending on your saddle quality on the rexes. I think my therizinos were in the 30k to 40k health range with 80 armor saddles, and on the Alpha dragon fight 12 of the 19 therizinos died. Similar result happened with my rexes that had 53 armor saddles when i fought the alpha broodmother. Over half of them died. The alphas are no joke.
