1. There are super tranq rifle mods that not only instant knockout but also drain food(basically the whole thing that gauges taming speed.)
2. Some mods have more dinos(but not all) being passively tamed by feeding directly. Others complicate taming more in this manner and others too though so be mindful.
3. You can also use admin commands in single player to insta tame things.
4. As for players, you can give yourself massive point % allocation values for fortitude making it nearly or completely impossible to be knocked out from torpor. Caveat to that though is that it also means you are rendered immune to heat/cold too basically which may or may not be something you want too.
Is it that the wild dinos take too long to knock out? Lower the torpor amount that wild dinos get by a massive amount.
Is it that you don't like how quickly they recover torpor? Change the torpor drain drain amount.
Is it that you don't like getting knocked out? Increase your own torpor.
You can change all these variables by as large or as small an amount as you want...effectively removing the whole torpor system if you change it dramatically enough. At that point though you may as well just use the console commands and cheat-to-tame anything you're taming.
So you working your avatar to the point they pass out from farming stones and such? That's funny - I've done that.
First time I busted out laughing; that a game actually implemented exhaustion to that degree was pretty amusing to me.
I still do it once in a while, when I'm half distracted by netflix while mining...and it still makes me chuckle a bit every time it happens.
OP, what is your exactly problem with the torpor system? Maybe we can help you without a mod..
