can i disable supply drops on solo?

yeah, its me again. is there a way to disable the supply drops? at least assuming thats what they are. im talking about the big electric effects in the sky if those arent supply drops. but either way i need to disable them because the effects crash my game after looking at them for too long, essentially keeping me from going in the direction of one.

yes you can

locate the Game.ini file and change this line

bDisableLootCrates=False

to

bDisableLootCrates=True


on my pc the file is located here

D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Yikes, so much good blueprints and gear in those drops, gonna make your game more difficult if you don't have access to them.

yeah it sucks. im willing to do it though because i just want to play the freaking game.

Try adding the Upgrade Station mod to your modlist. That will allow you to upgrade gear and saddles and even make blueprints off the upgraded parts.

I second this, because you will have a hell of a hard time without the better items which you only get from supply drops and the loot table of fishing doesn´t even remotely contain all the items ingame.

This mod compensates for the lack of drops.
