How are my tek force fields getting destroyed?

I have a base with tek and heavy turrets inside and outside a small tek force field. The generator is inside the force field. All are loaded with 800 bullets or 3000 shards. About 80 turrets around a small 5x10 base in a cave with two sides against a cave wall.

It didn't run out of power because it happened an hour after I logged off. I logged on midway during the raid and they had no tames so I wouldn't get how they could soak up all the bullets. In fact nothing was destroyed and I didn't realize they were there until they shot me.

It's true that the only way to destroy a force field is with a ton of explosives, right? And once that happened then the turrets on the inside should have unloaded on them.

Make sure all your turrets are on players and tames not just tames or wild also force fields can be destroyed with tek rifles

It's easy to LOS and destroy it with a tek rifle. Magmasaurs can also pop them. You were also in a cave that takes 6x damage.

The sever has an extremely high harvest rate. Oh I didn't know being in a cave increases damage taken. Are there any other types of places where there are damage modifiers?

Ruins on some maps do the same.
