Tribute Items Transfer on Private Cluster?

I've seen some videos where they could transfer tribute items such as Argent Talon between servers, but when I try it I get a message denying it. I check their mods and they don't have anything I don't or haven't had at one time. Is there a setting that I'm missing somewhere?

It has to be enabled on all the servers in the cluster in their GameUserSettings.ini file.

The lines in question to enable all of the obelisk upload/download functions, which go under the [ServerSettings] header in the ini file, are:

NoTributeDownloads=False
PreventDownloadSurvivors=False
PreventDownloadItems=False
PreventDownloadDinos=False
PreventUploadSurvivors=False
PreventUploadItems=False
PreventUploadDinos=False

It's the PreventUploadItems and PreventDownloadItems lines that you specifically need for item data transfer.

Defaults for all of these are True, so it's all disallowed unless you enable by adding the ini lines.

@ Jaggid - Tribute items are hard coded to be non transferable. So those ini codes don't affect them.

@ OP - There would have to be a mod to enable the user to transfer to other arks with those items. Most use a craftable item that then gets turned back into the original.

Ahh, my bad... I completely missed that he specifically said "Tribute" items to be completely honest...I read it as if he was just asking about items in general.

Good to know though, as I was also unaware that tribute items are hard coded to not be transferable. LOL

No worries, all good. Back in the day you were able to transfer with them but they changed it long ago an the only way to move them now is with mods unfortunately.

Hmm I just watched a new video this morning and he was collecting tribute items like titanboa venom on abberation and took it back to the island. I check his server info and like i mentioned he got it transfered. Only running S+, Dino Storage and a emote mod. I'm hesitant to mention the youtubers name though since i don't want to be accused of advertising.

That's not what the discussion rule is for. Mentioning a youtuber for reference doesn't fall under advertising.

I don't know how to allow tribute transfers without mods, but if you dont have any, other options, this mod will do it. It's currently used on the cluster i play on so it does work despite being a bit outdated.

I know this is an old post however i have been researching this subject. I am in two different clusters and one could transfer tributes while the other can not. I have determined that the mod Ultra Stacks allows transfer of element and element shards in the form for transferable element and transferable element shards.. it also allows transfer of tributes. They must have changed them just enough to allow transfer between worlds although there is no documentation to this. I used a single player game both with and without Ultra Stacks. With Ultra Stacks, i was able to place a tribute in the Ark data. without this mod, I received the error that is was not allowed.. It explains why I was not able to find anything on the internet on this subject. I really was hoping it was an INI setting however that is not the case.
