S+ Mutators Breeding Unbreadeable dinos.

So Yea....any help with this?

THe Mutator clearly has an option where it can make creatures breed what cannot....Yea...like sure...

Activated the pulse to make them breedeable, they have the strange icon. Still won't breed.
I even activated a mutation pulse as well. Still nothing.
Any help?

Assign a random Gender first, then use the Make Breedable pulse on a male and female. I've bred Griffins and Achatinas that way.

• Make sure the dinos are the same class
  
• Make sure they are male and female, either by assigning gender or swapping gender
  
• Make sure you did the enable breeding pulse to change them to allow babies and to remove any mating prevention flags on the dino

I'm trying to breed a creature from the mod Primal Fear
It's the Reaper Empress. She has gender so that's cool.
I could swap an Empress' gender to male so i have both Male and Female
Did move them close they even gaining Mate Boost.
I did enable breeding pulse wich i said probably not very clearly in the topic. And its not happening.
Tbh, i tried this with Rock drakes as well in vanilla, and it neither worked.

• Primal Fear has their own ini for breeding, best to use that instead
  
• They also have their own preventions in place to prohibit mutator use where they desire
  
• Also, if using an old S+ fork - like SS - than it's using the old mutator logic that hard-coded prevention of breeding reapers
  
• Also, reapers are unique. The male and female are different classes, king and queen. You can change the gender, but it doesn't change their class. Male kings will breed with Female kings, and Male queens will breed with Female queens... But Male kings will not breed with Female queens. This is in part due to them not being designed to breed.

For the RockDrake, I'm not sure why you couldn't get it to work if you enabled breeding on them, and didn't store them in a cryopod nor let the timer expire.

Okay so to clear things out.

- Yes Primal Fear has their own ini for breeding. For NORMAL Demonics and Celestials, not for Emprerors and Empresses.
- I'm not using SS i'm using S+
- I've tried to breed THE DEMONIC REAPER EMPRESS wich is a Primal Fear EXCLUSIVE CREATURE. Two of them infact. Same class. Same Creature. Had both Male and Female.
Altho it turned out, Pikkon made sure of that players cannot breed Empresses with Mutators.

And yea for Rock Drakes i just think the Mutator's enable breeding pulse stuff ain't working like we dream about it.

Yes, as I’ve stated in the second bullet... Primal Fear has their own preventions in place to block the mutator.

No need to be rude, no need to use caps. I’m simply providing all of the information possible because you failed to provide the necessary details when you first asked your question.

And honestly, I have little to no experience with Primal Fear itself so I really don’t know their tiers and structure so I added all of that information to guide you as best as possible without assuming that everything you did on your part was indeed done correctly. And since you can’t get a vanilla RockDrake to work, while I can, than I guess I’m doing something wrong to make it work correctly.

For whatever reason, the creators of both S+ and SS hard-coded Reapers to be unbreedable by the mutator. Makes no sense because Reapers already get stomped by Rexes in the late game, I see no reason to further this disparity, but it is what it is. It stands to reason that the Primal Fear Reaper Empress has inherited this block.

The author of S+ blocked it in the past, because reapers has a claim issue when force breeding. He’s removed the block in his latest changes, because he now has a claim feature in his omni tool. So there was a technical reason for it in the past, and he resolved it in his last update.

That said, some mods like DS v2 can bypass the old code block for folks still using the out of date S+ version like SS. That’s neither here nor there though.

Hey so my friends and i just recently started playing primal fear. We're currently at the stage where we first tamed our first celestial dino. how do we unlock the s+ mutator? sorry for the irrelevant response but i couldnt find any articles about unlocking it.

You need the Structures + mod to get i, obviously, otherwise its a TEK Engram, i think you need to kill the Origin Wyvern boss from the Primal fear, its pretty tough.

Use the S+ Propagator, it has the same features as the Mutator but more and is way more convenient to use.

Oh yea, the S+ Propagator is way more powerful, you can basically mutate, and breed ANYTHING with it.

You have to give it a try but it should work, Propagator gives you a custom egg and manages to produce babys from. creatures that don't have a baby state officially.
