You favorite/worst maps?

I’m playing recently on Valguero. I find it a bit boring. Maybe I need to explore it deeper? There are still a couple I haven’t played yet. What do you guys like/dislike the most?

I like the most Crystal aisle I played just about all the maps it's the best absolutely hated Genesis part 1 I played it for about 2 months maybe more build a big bass had animals and everything kept trying to get into it but just could not

Absloutley hate genesis, i do think it is so stupid

worst map: aberration

best map: still The Island.... and I never played Genesis

The maps themselves are all really cool, even Extinction, where I find the distinct biomes and wasteland kinda meh.

It's the resource and creature distribution I find problematic on any but Island, SE, and Ab. I dont play Ark for ease and convenience, and metal and various other stuff is way too easy on the DLC maps. Even on Ark's later Official DLC (Extinction and Genesis) it seems pretty mindless.

Though I could easily be overlooking things as I've only barely touched The Center and Island so far.

Here's my rating of the ones I've played, going from most favorite to least favorite:
1. The Island (duh)
2. Aberration (best DLC so far in my personal opinion)
3. Either Ragnarok or Genesis, these two are tied for third place. I know lots of people really hate Genesis but I think it is pretty good. Not the best, but I still have a fun time with it, so...
4. Scorched Earth
5. Extinction (my least favorite, though I do enjoy playing it, just not as much as the others)

And then I haven't really played Valgeuro enough to have an opinion, still haven't played Crystal Isles, and haven't played the Center either.

Extinction would be my worst.

Ragnarok is hands down my most favorite map.

SE was great when it came out, Aberration was and still is the map i dislike most.

A major downside was that "aberrant"-dino no-crossbreed thing ..
.. having to tame everything again from lystros to spinos was absolutely not worth it and boring.
