Element on island

Something must be said for farming element on island.

For 1. Monkey is pretty easy, except for the fact spinos rarely spawn on island making farming the boss impossible
2. Spider is easy to farm for, but the damage done by the spider again makes farming it not impossible, but hard, very hard.
3. Dragon does 25 percent damage each flame, considering it flames faster than cakes can heal a theri back up, this boss fight is an absolute joke.

And now element has been nerfed as turrets require 2 shards to shoot instead of 1. Good job wc way to make island as hard as possible compared to other servers.

Yeah youve got some weird preconceptions. Why would spinos be necessary for any given boss? Why would high damage mean anything except that the boss is harder? Why would a boss's ability make a fight a joke? I think making it challenging is the intent?

You're implying that equal difficulty across all bosses is the default position.

So both of yous have not understood what I said. Spinos are needed as a tribute for the monkey boss fight, try farming them on a large scale it's impossible on island. The fight itself is very easy but that means nothing if you can't get spino sails on mass to farm them. High damage for the spider boss fight means it's hard to do multiple consecutively. And as for the dragon, each flame does 25 percent of your dinos health taken away, and it flames so often the cakes on a theri cannot even keep up with the hp loss.

what stats on your dinos? we do Broodmother on official server twice with 12 rex and a yuty no heals. (alpha) also we did the gamma for overseer with 4 rex.

Spino sails for tribute.

For difficulty it just comes down to tames and saddles. Once you can beat it, beating it becomes a non factor. Other than maybe farming sails, OP doesn't really have a point.

take your own spino and kill EVERYTHING in the water in the main river. Yes spinos are not so common on the island but using this method you should be able to spawn enough spino to maintain your spino sails farm.

For your theri, you may want to consider getting better starting stats for a noticable increase of your army DPS. If you cannot kill the dragon fast enough to sustain its breath damage your damage is obviously too low. but still, i wouldn't use the dragon for element farming but rather the monkey or lysrix. if you have tons of prime cooked prime meat use a pair of daeodons to heal your army after each fight and note that the higher HP pool to heal the more effective will be a daeodon.

If you manage dino commands, you can defeat dragon with theris and pigs without any casualty. And if you are in at least 3 man tribe, you can still manage the fight with high quality pump-action shotgun (250%)+ megaloceros.
Spider mama is not so hard with megatheriums as bug killer in the ark. High quality saddles + bug killer buffs make megatheriums are the best creature to fight spider mama, you just ensure megatheriums must be surrounding the spider mama, and not just whistle to attack spider mama, otherwise the DPS to spider mama will be less since some megatheriums will be stuck and cannot hit spider mama, and spider mama will shoot toxic balls in this situation.
Again try to manage the dino commands.

2. Just use megatheriums? Get the cake and insect kill boost. Makes the spider easy as.

I have 2.5k damage theris its not an issue, also when dragon lands for a second just to flame then takes off again its impossible to get good dps in. Spider is easy enough to beat I know, but doing them on mass is not practical due to the fact dinos have to be healed afterwards. And yes I know killing the fish as part of the same tame group helps spinos spawn, but not at a high enough rate. Mass element farming therefore is impossible on island compared to other servers, and now with the nerf zzzzzzz

Ok i see, my apology 2 500 DMG is wayyyy enough for a good DPS. Yeah the land and fly off mechanic is frustrating i agree, but just leave the dragon and go for the mega or lyrix.
if spinos are still your issue then you have only 1 choice left.
But there is NO MAss element farm on the siland as you seem to want it to be. One way or an other you will still have to go get ingredients, artifacts and heal your guys.
You may want to try deinos against lysrix but you will need extremely muated deinos to do that.

The dragon melts if you have some good shotties. But I always with with others and mainly used the theri's to keep it occupied.

I don't disagree with you. Spinos are a tough farm on populated servers, Brood hits hard, the fact that most dragon kill videos involve a group of people cheesing it is a reflection of where that boss is at.

On healing your team though, I don't find it all that difficult. I mean it is still somewhat of a time sink farming meat for your pig but I guess if you did that up and down and spino spawn river, you might get some sails too. I usually just do one trip up and down and the team is healed and ready to go again.

But yeah its a bit grindy considering the element farm on later maps and lets not even talk about the joke boss fights on the player made maps.

Have you ever tried using Velonasaurs verse the dragon? They can attack it while its flying, if they are strong enough you might get lucky and the dragon wont even land.

Yep, get at least 10 females for breeding and get as many Element-Dust gachas as you want..
( in 100 babys i got 3 of them )

On the other side my Megatheriums are really not great and can do 2 spiders withouts problems.. no sails needed. After fight i just get the meat out of the megas, throw it in a through and wait some minutes ..
