Ark movie?
Would an Ark movie go over well?

And I know most video game movies usually suck.

In my opinion, It would be better then the current Jurrasic world movies they are putting out....

Either a series of movies or a TV show, like Avatar: The Last Airbender, following the lore characters and going throught the Island, SE, Abberation, and now Extinction. Either way, I'd watch. Also a book series.

I was thinking about this the other day and talking with my daughter about it. We think an Ark movie franchise would be a huge hit. Starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, of course.

Not a film, films tend to get to flashy recently and spend huge amounts of money on cgi and get horrid scripts. I rather see a tv series or books.

I would definately be interested in seeing an Ark movie. The thing would be epic for sure. It could be based on how the planet was becoming to inhospitable so humans desided to build these Arks for the people to survive, but something went wrong and the Ark went wild. Far in the future some humans who were cryogenically frozen would wake up in the wild Arks and be forced to search for answers and survive.

Sorry, my imagination got away from me there. It would be a neat movie.

Oh. Let's propose a cast.

I imagine it following the plot of the Explorer Notes, but Ark is such a personalizable game that they could really tell any story they wanted and it would work well.

I would rather see a animated TV series along the lines of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I would love a book series. It would be way cheaper to produce than a movie. It wouldn't even have to be able the original explorers. It could be a different set of characters.

Dwayne Johnson = Nerva
Jeff Goldblum = Rockwell
Emma Watson = Helena
Brenda Song = Mei-Yin
I think that's the main cast for the Island, too hyper to think beyond that

Netflix series instead of a movie would be better. Cramming all of Ark into a single movie wouldn’t work, and stretching it out to a series of movies years apart would take too long/ people would lose interest.

I remember something about a fan made fallout movie.
Personally i think ark would be a better tv show. Give it alittle more time to run.
Though a book series would do well as well imo.
