Can't Fly In Aberration Area Of Valguero

I just found the entrance at the waterfalls. I was on my Argentavis and all of the sudden I dropped into the water. My bird followed all the way down to land below but I can't ride her. I have allow flyers in caves on but I now have no way to get out nor do I have my trusty bird to check out the area. :/

Is this normal that you can't fly down here?

Aberration is not a cave. It has its own special rules. I would recommend in the future bring grappling hooks. But there IS a walking path out mostly in and western direction from where you dropped in

Ah grappling hooks. I haven't played Aberration yet so I just figured you could take a flyer in. I will have to find the path to get out, LOL!

So I am guessing you can't fly in here? I've seen recordings where people fly in so I just figured I could as well. :( Maybe they mod?

I've seen them fly with cheats like godmode or something like that. But other than using cheat commands you are walking.

I found the path and wow what a waste of time! I have zero animals in here! Ugh....

You can fly in the abberation zone.. done it myself without cheats.. i believe the host has flyer in cave activated though.

You need to have cave flyers enabled in both the gameusersettings.ini and the command line to enable you to fly in the Aberration area. It took us a while to figure out why some were able to fly and others weren't and it was that some had the cheat enabled in both places.

Thanks I will double check my settings. Really disappointed there are zero dinos here. I guess it isn't finished?

It’s funny because there were loads! The red zone was flooded with crabs and other nasties. But I noticed that at some point it just became empty. Now I only noticed drakes, glow tails, very rarely a snake and sometimes a beetle and that is it apart from the nameless. I also noticed that the main Aberration cave area is pretty empty now also. I thought perhaps it was something wrong with my save file.

It is finished. But the dinos were exclusive to the Aberration map and not allowed anywhere else, so they were removed.

Can you take mana's into the abberation zone and are there rock drakes in it?

Necro, and to answer no on both. Manas do not have their dash ability down there. If you enable cave flying then yes manas work.

There are mods available that add more Abberation creatures to the Emerald Forest.
