Extinction has a difference wyvern type creature.

Go to Aberration for rock drakes.

Gonna put this here, there's also no wyvern eggs, despite corrupted wyverns flying around.

I know you said no mods, but I personally don't see the harm in adding mods to enhance your gameplay experience, it might be more fun to add more dinos to Extinction.
