Sucky move by the devs. I know its not gonna get attention from them here, but I would urge everybody who loved his series like I did to let the devs know how we feel via their official Twitter account.

I hate to see him leave and I hope he will someday return to Ark, but I understand why he's fed up with the Devs at this point.

So please, if you're a fan of him and have Twitter, give the devs hell over there.

"Building in an unintended area." How are gamers meant to know where Wildcard consider unintended ? When games have secret areas and easter eggs etc.. it's not clear where is intended or not. We are not mind readers. The dev said also that it is not an invitation to build there just because the structure doesn't die... well by the same token it is not an instruction to NOT build there.. or have we to make the assumption on where the devs consider intended or unintended.

I love Ark, but devs....please see Nico and Vinz "Thats how you know"

An example that very well end badly for them...
Every company needs good PR but WC about as much as EA at this point and instead of, you know, being reasonable and giving a warning before wiping a lot of tribes or just removing the structures there, they go full ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Especially now with the new DLC looming, losing a very popular YouTuber along with many of his fans and thusly inviting yet another review bombing, they could've shown the community that they listen, fix stuff and communicate with their player base.

Gthacked aint gonna play nothing else, this guy earns a living off the back of ark like many youtubers and streamers, i watch a lot of these channels and streamers but if they didn't exist id still play ark all the same, WC and Ark is the best thing that ever happened to some of these people and they should be grateful for the content that WC provides them.

Making money, over nerfing, undernerfing, p155ing pple off, adding things that arent needed, not adding things that are needed.... the list realy does go on.

How exactly did WC properly convey to players that something the game mechanics allowed wasn't allowed?

Most official players have no clue the code of conduct or of how to submit tickets.

They tried to, they need to increase the size of the out of bounds blocks and be more thorough its true. The fact is people searched and searched for areas where they could build because of the resources there. The location is above the out of bounds block, he shouldnt have been there, he knew it wasnt a good idea.

did he cheat? Yes, he abused an exploit to maintain a base close to resources gaining an advantage over other players.

I am sure he will be missed by his fan base. If he is that entertaining he will recover with another game , assuming YouTube doesn’t change their mind and drop him since he was banned.
