How Do You Get To The GameUserSettings.ini

I'm new to PC gaming so I have no clue what I am doing. I'm playing solo on the map Ragnarok with a few mods, S+ being one of them. I want to enable " NoFoundationsRequired=false " so that I can place ceilings without the need for foundation support. I have gone to my "steamapps" section under "Steam" on my PC, but from there I can't find where to go or what to do. Another post said go to "common" from this section, but I don't have that choice. I need help. I just want to place ceilings to my heart's content :(

maybe check again, you were right so far, but there really should be a folder called "common" to go on, its were all your Steam games get installed...
Full path on my machine would look like E:\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini

Make sure you close Ark before editing your singleplayer .ini files. Or they wont take.

For modded changes to the ini you need to add them yourself.
Should be a list in the S+ page on workshop of them.

you have to go to the bottom of the gameusersettings file, and manually put it in, leaving a one line space below the last thing there :

[StructuresPlus]
EnableQuickClimb=false
NoFoundationsRequired=true
GardenerRangeInFoundations=20
SheepHerderRangeInFoundations=20
GrinderResourceReturnPercent=75
BeeHiveSlotCount=50
BeerBarrelSlotCount=50
LargeStorageSlotCount=200
IndustrialCookerSlotCount=200
FridgeSlotCount=200
HatcheryIncubationMultiplier=500
HatcheryRangeInFoundations=50
AllowIntakeToPlaceWithoutWater=true

it has to have the [StructuresPlus] heading, and after that you can change what you want out of the big list posted on the mod page. also note you need the no foundations required changed to true, not false

Yeah after making my post I realized it should be changed to true. Thank you for the help! I’ll get this done when I get home from college!
