has anyone tried using the blink feature on the admin rifle straight down?

I'm scared to almost death, and I have no idea what happened there. Ok, I'll continue. I was using the admin rifle, and then I used blink straight down and then I was teleported to this sort of weird dimension. I can't describe it because after that I paused was just "what the actual ♥♥♥♥" and closed the game. can someone else test this just so I'm not the only one? this won't destroy your game, I think.

You may have been between meshes or having the natural LOD lag that the blink rifle can sometimes cause when moving fast... from your op it seems you paused and quit fairly quickly, so it was probably still loading...

One thing you can do to check is in a single player game turn on noclip and gcm and fly at a regular pace to the same area under the mesh and have a look see aound and see if there were 2 or 3 levels under the mesh there that may have caused the wonky view...

Edit - in water or inside multiple boulders or something may cause a wonky view too...

1 of four things happened.

1 you teleported into the ocean, the water throughought the Island/The Center/ Ragnarok is map-wide with the island rising out of it. Underwater there, there's no fog but it still gives you the distorted double vision effect.

2. You teleported near lava on scorched earth while under ground.

3. You teleported into radiation on Aberration.

4. You teleported into the kill barrier on extinction.
