Where are all the Players ?

Hello Guys,
me and my friends played a lot of ark together and took a break from it to cool down,
The last days we took a look for a new Server and are wondering where are all the Players playing. I mean Ark has 47k Players date today i did the short math for the official servers.
Today there where ~ 13k player on official Server
so the other 34k are playing unofficial.
when im looking there nearly all Servers are emtpy or have liddle to no player 0-20.
Some less Servers have around 80 Player.
I did several refreshes for it.

So i cant quit understand where are all the players. i did a look at websites where ppl can advertise there own server and even there are a handfull of server with 20+ player.

when im filtering for my style like: eu server, low rates 1-8*, relativly fresh dated, not trashfilled with tons of mods, etc. theres nearly nothing and i dont think im that special xD

so can anyone light me up? maybe im doing something wrong to find a good server xD

I'm wondering the same thing here. I took a break as well and i'm just trying to join a server that doesn't have 10x everything with an ass ton of mods. I can't find any official servers that aren't overbuilt or under 8,000 days

Game keeps crashing for me so its unplayable after recent patches and most servers are Dino capped and they refuse to make new ones so new players really cant even enjoy the aspect of the game that most play it for and thats Taming Dinos lol

In game search system does not comprehensively show all servers available to play on and has a very limited set of filters to search between the ones you can see.l

Most use battlemetrics website as its pretty comprehensive and has more filters to sort by(including mods). I've filtered by player numbers for you: https://www.battlemetrics.com/servers/ark?sort=-players

Your wants pretty much in regards to official servers do not match the reality of what they represent. There are within the 30,000+ unofficial servers out there ones that have no mods and lower rates that you perhaps would find acceptable however, the more picky you are the more finite your choices become. These days I try to recommend people to find good communities versus what they initially perceive as good servers otherwise.
