Why are Spino eggs bad?
Why do Spino eggs, only give Superior kibble while it needs exceptional kibble to be tamed? Especially considering spino is one of the hardest tames.

Spinos aren't hard tames.

Spinos take a lot of nacrotics, take high ranking kibble, take a long time to tame and loose torpor quickly. Much harder than a rex, or yutyrannus for sure.

I'm guessing it's because of how spino kibbles were used to tame sharks... which honestly are the worst water tames.

Still should've been superior kibble though, I agree.

What we have here is a case of over refinement. With the abundance and comfort provided by the ARK systems, the spino has grown tastes and refinement beyond its normal, natural, state. As such, we can call the spino a nobal class of dino, a cut above the rest of it's kind and truly royal!

I think the quetz, herperonis, and otter are annoying to tame. Spino is easy just put that fatty in a trap and afk.

I dont know about that. Maybe the same but not more difficult. Though torpor is lower then a rex more narcos is true. But i find it starves faster meaning i dont have to be out there at risk as long.
Spinos are almost a dime a dozen in abberation.

Spinos are definitely an expensive tame. They require a lot of narcos, and they take much longer to tame than rexes, and they also wake up fairly fast too. It takes 9 minutes for a spino to wake up whereas it takes nearly an hour for rexes to wake up. On official rates, it takes 2 hours and 20 minutes to tame a lvl 150 spino with kibbles, and that costs 500+ narcos. Rexes take 1 hour and 45 minutes to tame and costs almost no narcos.

However, it takes 2x more tranq arrows/darts to KO rexes than spinos. But that's the easy part, so Spinos are overall, much much harder to tame than rexes.
