hey Devs, stop updating the game!
I mean the game is 5 years old.. let it be. Let the faithful users who've made this game popular in the first place have a break and allow us to play the game without interruption. without constant game-breaking updates? without have to sync up every mod known to man every day!!!
The game REQUIRES, yes REQUIRES mods to make playable in any reasonable length of time.. give it a freakin' break dev's! c'mon!

Game just got a free DLC. Free content.

1 more paid DLC in the works for next year.

I don't mind constant updates. I've gotten used to it from using Discord. That program seems to update multiple times a day. But, the most recent update (that is only 100MB) is stuck on 99% and isn't installing despite all the potential solutions I've tried. The game was fine yesterday.

oh yes, Stop fixing bugs that people keep complaining about just because you have no concept of patience... seriously dud, this has to be the oddest thing I've seen people whine about.

Yep .... last 3 updates... multiple exploits fixed.... stoppit devs...

i wish it was more of a weekly thing, like every friday a bug fix update(because god knows there is a lot if work to do). but im not at mad at the constant updating. Then again I just play singleplayer so what do i know?
NimblePixel Jul 2, 2020 @ 10:03pm
I agree, the constant updates are annoying af. This recent update is taking forever and keeps increasing. I just wanna play the bloody game!

i mean, the last 3 mayor updates have been events: summer, anniversary and easter, so they are breaking the game to have an event that last 1 month, almost the same as the bugs they make in those updates. BUT in defence of the devs, events and update like this is what keeps the community interested, i only wish they didn't break the game each update, 90% of the patch notes are Fixed X problem

"hey Devs, stop updating the game!"

How about no? The game needs to be updated, otherwise even more bugs then there already are, will arise
Chuc Jul 3, 2020 @ 1:13am
Why complain about updates when you are the one playing with mods. Don't want the hassle, then don't mod.
Dagtag Jul 3, 2020 @ 1:14am
yeah you don't get to dictate terms here... "faithful players" will understand why these updates are needed. they keep the game relevant and fix exploits in the process.

just by saying the game needs mods in order to work is already a flat out lie. vanilla is perfectly playable for long hours of time.

also, since you created a similar post just like this in april I assume you weren't getting enough attention?

There's a new map and an on-going event.
Bugs need to be track and fixed.
For modders, it is their responsibility to keep their mod update.

Yes I'm so addicted to the game I like the updates gives me a chance to stop and do something besides play for a few minutes sometimes hours at least I can take a break otherwise I cannot stop playing great game especially Crystal Isles I'm loving it
RAYRAY Jul 3, 2020 @ 1:37am
I've got just about 3,000 hours in now
Reaperette Jul 3, 2020 @ 2:10am
I agree the game needs updating but a few times today already is getting very annoying, this latest one is only 344mb but has so far take me 45 min as it is stopping and starting and not downloading. Cant we just do a bit larger update but once a day ?
Wolfie Jul 3, 2020 @ 2:17am
ark updates for some reason always take forever, like the method they use is dumb, its just ark, other games can update in minutes ark, 300mb, 1 hour, like wtf are they doing
