Cake Slices?!

I opened a discussion yesterday about this topic but i think moderators closed it. I didnt say anything wrong i just asked a question. I'm again asking a question now, are cake slices nearly useless now? They have almost no use other than a stupid big cake. Why did you change the crafting ingredients of event items. It wasn't necessary. Remove party dodos and cake slices all together then! Why did you implement them in the first place? We can craft that stupid cake with meats too! I just want a genuine answer instead of deletion of my discussion, are you going to fix this or is this going to stay like this.

Each event is different. Save the cake slices for next birthday event and they might become useful again, if the birthday event is the same.

At first slices were the "currency" of event items and chibis. Then they changed it and i don't understand why. It's not that abundant like in the egg event. I really liked it when the event first came in, grinding party dodos for a new resource to get really shiny new items and chibis you know. It's now much more easier to get those items especially for large tribes and very very hard for solo/small tribes. Sorry about my whining but i really like this game and want it to thrive, be better, immersive etc.

playing offline today and i found some party dodos. got 10 cake slices, but i cant even use them. i know its been a couple years since this thread began, but now they really are effectively useless.
