Jerboa in crystal isles

Are these guys not in this map or what? been looking in the desert/red forest for hours, havent found a single one. Man this map is so bad, cant even tame basilisks here

I noticed the map itself seems empty in most areas sadly. I gave up with the map after about 1-2 hours of play. According to the wiki they spawn at the top part of the desert. Not sure what the name of that section is though.

Yeah, it really is a bad map, its beautiful though. I have no idea why they removed rock drakes and have such low dino spawns, its so dumb.

Yeah the map itself is really nice. I think WildCard told them to remove most of that stuff since they didn't want it in the official release or something so i've heard. Possible explains the lack of spawns as well.

I increased spawn rate on my server to 2x but before that I did find a spot that jerboa spawned. Shoulder pets do nothing for me outside of scorched earth and abberation so I didn't bother noting where I saw them on crystal isles.

I found jerboas in the desert area of Crystal Isles. In the world that I have now, I tamed a jerboa near the griffin canyon area

Whats the point of putting out a f2p map if nobody plays it.

People play these mod maps turned free DLC cause they already have a following and they are new and bigger than official maps.

I think the CI mod author is going to release a companion mod to bring back the content WC removed. The Valguero author did this.

they already did but it requires simple spawners mod to work apparently
