i have 2 mate boosted parcers a spino and an argy is that enough to kill an alpha carno?

Yes. The spino could kill it alone even if it is a tamed spino.

I would kill them and Alpha Raptors on Official after I tamed a high level Argy just to level the Argy quicker.

When using an Argy, the trick is to land/perch the Argy atop a rock that's just a bit taller than the Carno, and walk it up to the edge facing the Carno. If you pick the right rock, the Argy will be able to hit the Carno, but the Carno won't be able to land many (or any, if you're lucky) hits on the Argy. It seems Argies can hit targets at a certain distance below them, but Carnos have trouble reaching the same distance above. It's a small, but crucial, advantage for the Argy.

Then, just spam primary attack until the battle is won. If the Carno runs away, be patient, it'll usually come back.

Same trick works on [alpha] Raptors, Dire Wolves, and other small-to-medium-sized carnivores. Not so much for Rexes, as there aren't many rocks that are tall enough to stay out of a Rex's reach.

Are you sure that's right? I think the only restriction would be crafting the saddle. They'd still be able to ride the dino.

Well yeah, but without a saddle they're not riding it. You do NEED a saddle a Spino. So unless someone just gives them a saddle they can't ride it.
