limiting 2 artifacts to 1 each per server per week has to be a bug or they wouldn't respawn
The way we tested this was by entering the room to find nothing spawned, letting the door slam shut behind us. One of us stayed in the Oasis room and one of us then ghosted back through the door we came from. He then walked back down the hallway a bit then came back, hit the button again, and walked through the door. At that point the Megaloceros spawned.
We now have a non-cheatcode routine where we pod any tames, walk around the area where the button is, hit the button, go in the Oasis room briefly but run back to the button if we do not immediately see any Megaloceros. We then rinse and repeat this until we see the spawn as you should be able to see them roaming in sight from the door. This usually takes 1-3 times but we have not had to do it more than that.
Notes: We've only tried this when sacrificing tames, not humans.
I typically solo each path with no armor, no weapons, and use a Thylacoleo to bypass most obstacles and fight any mobs. It's very fast and efficient.
