If you're talking about the icon that pops up when you're injured, then yeah it will go away as soon as your health increases.
Since 9mins ago, I am assuming its done now :)

Heal up and they'll heal naturally. Make sure you stay fed and watered so that you continue regaining hp.

if you have an 'gravely injured' icon, aka broken bone, you can heal up naturaly(costs food and water) or use a medical potion
