Basilisks aren't Breedable?
As per the title, I get that crabs are "insects" and like the others you can't breed them, but the Basilisks are basically giant snakes that eat eggs...seems disappointing that they're not breedable. The only new ones that are are the charge shoulder pets, ravagers and roll rats then?

Probably because Basilisks and the other higher tier Aberration creatures are fairly powerful already, and the limit on breeding is due to the potential of them being made too powerful through breeding and it is all balance-related. Similar to why griffins, wyverns, and etc are not breedable

just a guess

That's the issue with Aberration IMO is that there are far too many "high tier" creatures and not enough standard creatures. So you can only breed Ravagers and various lightbulb creatures. It makes it stale to me... :( I really wanted giant crab babies. I feel like there should have been more creatures added to Aberration as a whole.

fairly powerful? Hah, they are about same strength as untamed rex that cant breed., the abarrent megalosaurus is the most powerful creature you can tame on aberration because it can breed, has a saddle, and gains alot per level up point and yet is vastly easier to get. without breeding, the basilisk and karkinos are a joke in end game, same with reaper with it having no saddle and gaining half the normal amount per level up along with all three being very hard to get, only creature clsoe to being good is the rock drake.

What I don't understand is why the Basilisk is attacked by smaller carnivores. Doesn't make sense considering their saddle level and overall strength. Makes taking them through areas with Ravagers a huge pain.

because the game counts them as small creatures, small bear traps effect them

How in the blue hell are they counted as "small creatures"? That has to be a bug.
