Aberration Tree platform not working?

Alright, i spent a entire day farming cementing paste mats for the platform and found a place i really liked. But it says that there is no snap point. Is this intended or a bugg?
I have been away from ark 1 year, came back for aberration and loved the idea of no flying and tree platforms!Please can we at least get a answer from devs on this?! :(

No snap points on trees aberration is designed for the new cliff platforms.

huh....well then learning the tree platforms are totally useless and i guess this also means that the sap taps are annoying to utilize

dont say totally useless just yet, 1 some modder will fix it when dev kit releases and 2 the devs might fix it as well. Alot of random stuff getting fix and tweaked in these mini patches

It was take a map extension to add snap points to trees. Or a modified version of the tree taps to include 1/4 of a platform.

Can you access them from climbing picks? Or these portable ladders? Or do you have to build ridiculous structures to get to them?

I assume it's a bugg and ♥♥♥♥ happens, i have the tree platform on a official pve server, and i had a plan and location. I mean, they wouldn't just allow all the players to imagine a treebase and then allow us to gather all the mats for it and then realize that all those hours to be wasted?

Yes, you can access them with climbing picks. I've not tried the portable ladder yet. With picks, you just need to make sure you don't get take more sap than you can carry, or you won't be able to get back down when you're encumbered.

You can access the tree sap tap using a zipline and zipline motot

[Nightmode]

If you are on single player or have admin access you can spawn a tree platform while Ghosting inside the tree.
