Night is 17:30 - 5:30. Just listen for the dawn-dusk music. Once you hear it, you are good to go.

That has nothing to do with the time.

The time for night and day are always the same. 10% day / 90% night simply changes the speed at which the clock goes at those times of the day.

Additionally there are 3 days with 10%/90% in a row, 3 days 90/10 and 3 days 50/50
Also watchout after 5 am because it looks like day speed starts a little bit faster than 6am
