Blue circle

I've been looking at threads all day.

I launch the game, and immediately on the middle right of the screen, a blue ring appears. It happens at the main menu & while playing.

I've checked the game games twice, and both times it fixes two files. Taking a screenshot does NOT show this circle weirdly. They show the game as it should, and any real evidence would be me taking a picture of my screen.

Anyone else experience this?

Then it's probably an overlay. Look at what else is running in the back that would display it. Then turn it off.

Now that I see it, I'm almost certain it's an overlay. Looks a lot like the circle of corana or whatever the name of the thing that comes with win10. But might be something else.

Naw, that's not cortana. Her thing is like solid black and blue. That thing is clear.

It has the same color as the overlay in Ark as well. I've repaired my install 4 times with no changes.

Adjusted graphics from super good to bad, vise versa

"Nahimic app" sound tracker.
Often, these issues are caused not by the game itself but by apps that work in tandem with the program. If you have an external program like NVIDEA or Nahimic, disable its authority over ARK.

Nah. I don't have anything that produces that.

Whenever I launch other games, it's not there.

Maybe she was pissed you disabled her, so she did this...

Interesting. I turned off system applications that get installed with my chipset for this laptop and that resolved it. I have disabled it from startup.
