be sure you did NOT aggro or it will not eat.

Lead the basilisk to an area with a overhang,
go onto the overhang with cliff picks and just throw the eggs down.

There are no flyers in the new dlc?

@der no cause they wanted balance something flyers break entirely,
The dlc map is amazing as you gotta plan and think about progression instead of just running around naked with a pickaxe to progress.

Not to mention a beautiful map without compare.

@der i know they do but if it's high enough u can get the egg next to them without agroing them,
you do have gliders, zip lines and climbing picks after all.
Also rock drakes (who's egg is the best taming method for basilisk)

yeah i know but the tame doesn't really work they have to change something because the basilisk is more interrested in other things

@der as i mentioned above you got full 3d mobility at your finger tips you can easily tame a basilisk or just use a tek jetpack since this is a endgame map where the devs expect people to come in with all tek grams from other maps.

we are not playing on a cluster server and still are there mor interrested in dinos etc i know the mobility i love it but i dont have the end game tek gear right now they need to change the interrest to the egg

I haven't tried taming one yet but they do seem to be very buggy. There's one near my base and I tried to lead it away but it won't aggro. I can stand right on top of the mound and punch the spikes and nothing happens.

@der the mobility is just ziplines and hooks , for 100% mobility glider, zipline, hooks.
So lvl 30ish and you can tame a basilisk if you had the eggs,
tho 100% mobility is about lvl 69 or so.

The basilisk will eat any fertilized egg. It takes a while for them to eat it.
