Tree Platforms Not Working - Aberration

I am trying to place a tree platform, and there are 'no ground or snap points' error every tree.

Anyone else?

Can make a fix?

It only seems to place in a few locations along a rock wall.

They aren't made for aberation

Yup some things are disabled like grapplinghooks and tree platforms do not work, As they made cliff platforms for this map ;)

The most logical reason why is probably because it's pointless to have them when you can build on cliffs, but what would be interesting is to utilize tree platforms as zipline point(which trees can be)

I know Wildcard does stupid all the time but this is beyond dumb.
This map has more redwoods than any other map. They are everywhere that isn't the glowing forest. And as you said, having ziplines it would be absolutely spectacular to have tree platforms.

Eh, guess we have to wait until they finally release the updated devkit so someone can mod it in. It's like Skyrim. The devs do minimum effort and the community fixes their gaping holes.

I am hoping this is a bug that will get fixed in a later update. Given how new this expansion is. I would expect building consistency issues like this to come up in the beginning - normalizing it as a planned feature seems a bit premature but then I hardly visit this forum so I wouldn't know.

Good to know I won't bother wasting resources on something I can't use then. I also agree it's rather stupid to disable them. Lots of neat things you can do with some of the new stuff mixed with platform paths.

For some reason it has to be where the rock has a split or a inward curve. Very hard to get it to snap to anything it is supposed to.

Im pretty sure that to build the metal cliff platform that the tree platform is a pre-requisite engram. I'd have to look again, but it is absurd to not use tree platforms here. Redwoods and giant trees all over the dang place!

Pretty sure the s+ platforms work. I know someone on my server has a lot of tree with platforms, will look closer to see which ones they used.

There are no snap points on the trees for platforms. Only for the tree taps.

The platforms plus wedges still work to make platforms anywhere from a foundation or pillar. But the tree platforms do not work.
