Has anyone been able to find a decent area to farm crystal? I realize that the colored nodes provide crystal, and there are some places littered about, but our tribe is really struggling to keep up with the demand. Will there be plans to patch in a reasonable crystal supply?

Now you can check all the spawn points for crystal and see if any of them meet your fancy for travel distance and overall deposit size.

I usually visit the noob area (or ancient device? Those red, green, blue rings?) there are regular crystals.
Also on the surface there are some regular crystal nodes you can visit during the night without protection.

Thank you both for the info, but unfortunately all the nodes we come across have crystal as a secondary source (AKA colored crystals) or they are small clusters with only a few resources per node. I was just curious if anyone has found LARGE, clustered deposits of crystal anywhere. I'll check the surface today.

At the Fertile Lake you have some white crystal deposits in the mountains around the water pool.

Just checked the surface and the crytal deposits are no better than the ones found in the blue biome. I really hope they patch in more crystal deposits, as the yield is still garbage at 5x.
