I get pretty hungry on those long tames, DEV get me some cheetos!
I know, it seems like an oversight on their part, so many games these days have a colourblind mode to reduce strain on the eyes and make it easier to see things.
Since there are multiple types, which type of color blindness do you suffer from?
Have you asked your doctor what options you have that can help alleviate the symptoms that cause the headaches?
Does your monitor have a generic color-blind setting, or can your doctor recommend what settings to adjust it to so it matches your specific type of color blindness?
While I feel for you, most gaming companies probably can't design their games around the different types of colorblindness that exist, so I would start discussions with your doctor first. Maybe for your type, there a screen filters available to help reduce the neon glare even further.
I hate headaches, when I was 16 I had literal brain surgery because of abscess on my brain. They left behind scars which makes me have much more intense headaches then normal so I really feel for you and understand what a pain it is to try and play with them.
