Tamed dino moving forward non stop

I posted the exact same post in bug report section but I'm such in a state of despair that I'd like to drag a bit more attention to my issue :

So hello,

Short story : I was riding my smilodon, I attacked one of those smaller Stegosaurus, forgot the name, but it's the one that impales you on its tail and deals crazy damage, and that's what happened, it impaled my smidolon and I got kicked off, I had to fight as a brave man and after the fight I noticed my smilodons was behaving weirdly : it kept moving forward, non stop. (he needs to follow 24/7 me in order not to desert my army)

I spent the last 2 hours trying to a find a solution, and I read posts dating back to 2015 mentionning the same issues and no real solution, and I'm losing hope.

I tried everything, switching him to passive, giving him attack/move order, mount/unmounting him, removing the saddle, putting him to sleep and going far far away hoping the game would stop processing its AI and return him to normal..

Of course this had to happen to my very best pokemon and I'm on the verge of rage quitting and never coming back. PLEASE HELP!

I'm playing solo and yeah man I restarted so many times I stopped counting.

mabey stupid question, but have you made sure wandering is disabled on the creature. that could be why..

Yeah no, he isn't set on wandering, he doesn't walk around, he walks in a straight line unless I tell him to follow me, and even then he does weird ♥♥♥♥. Really turning me crazy right now.

I'm seeing this on my server, also. I found that riding him and pressing W will stop him moving. This happens with Wyvern and Thylacoleo for sure. I haven't tested my other animals.

What mods are you running?

If you havr S+ there is a structure you cam tie ur dino too. They can't move while tied down. It will at least keep it from wandering away when ur not using it.

I'm playing solo with no mod, I don't want a work around I'd like a real solution, can't believe it happened to nobody else so far?

Try uploading it to an obelisk, and downloading it again. That might reset its BS walking.

Red say it happened to him and he fixed it by riding the dino.

He did that in the video he just uploaded and it definately didn't help.

its a bug that happens on forcetamed dinos sometimes. you can ride it and dismount to fix usually. if that doesnt work you need to restart the server by exiting to menu and going back

I appreciate the "help" but he isn't force tamed, I explained how it happened, and I'm solo so no obelisk for me I'm afraid.

Oh boys it's me again,

You'll excuse my ignorance but I didn't know how the obelisks work as I always played solo, turns out I've been able to upload and redownload my boy which stopped walking forward endlessly!
