King titan arena dino limit??
Seems to be mixed/ lack of feedback regarding how many tames are allowed in the king titan fight. One article said max 20, but various forum posts said there was no limit. Talk of up to 50 rexes brought to the fight. So is there a dino limit or no since the arena is really just part if the map from my understanding.

Side question, do i loose my dinos and items after fight or can I store the items on a dino or terminal before end cut scene?

Pretty sure there is no limit since most dinos will get one shot by the king titan

Ya heard this. Planning on bringing titans but wanted to bring a lot of gigas for some extra power. Was thinking like 50 fully imprinted about 40k health just for fun. But didnt want to lose half of them just because they couldnt enter arena or some dumb stuff like that.

the king titan does like 30k damage per hit, your gigas have no chance

But what are the mechanics like? Is he consistently hitting for 30k? Or is that a particular attack that happens X amount of times? Is it an avoidable attack so to speak? Like can some attack from.behind and avoid it? Is that 30k base damage that can be mitigated by a solid saddle? Is it possible for the gigas to attack 8n waves of 6 or 7 at a time and do solid dps before they die and you send next wave in?

I ask here because I keep seeing different things other places or a lack of information other than he does a ton of damage without really understanding mechanics of how it happens.

Thanks for any help.

King titan (for math purposes, we'll talk about easy version) has a huge AoE melee attack. He can hit cone shaped damage hitbox, and use his tail for behind him. Gigas can be used, but don't expect them to live long. A non imprinted normal saddle giga will not survive, but a fully imprinted mate boosted ascendant saddle giga army might survive 2-3 hits from the titan.

Your best bet is to use tamed titans. You will definitely need at least 1 titan for easy, and all 3 for medium. People who arn't riding the titan will need to use meks and shoot from a distance and avoid King Titan's ranged attack.

You should watch a video of a king titan fight to get an idea what it's like.

first i meant 30k as a example, his real attack damage is way way way over that. all (underline all) attacks the king do will one hit any dino a million times over. the only way to beat him is to use other titans (in the case of the alpha king only the mega mek has the power to down it)

if you just want raw data then the king titan can do max 500000dps and has 2.5 million hp (according to the wiki)

Thanks. Ya just talking gamma. Was going to bring all 3 titans since there are 3 of us. But if we can get by with just one for the first maybe we wont waste time with other till we do beta.

Normal meks or loot drop meks. We have 3 loot meks but was going to save them for beta if we could.

And ya I was not expecting the gigas to survive. Just hoped I could send in waves for some extra dps. Fully imprinted with I think mastercraft saddles. Wasn't sure if dps they would put out before they died would be worth it or not really.

And I know this sounds weird, but I'm trying not to watch a video. I like to experience seeing the fight and king for first time without a video. Still have not seen what it looks like so trying to keep at least that for me when we go. Lol. I know its weird since I'm asking about mechanics Haha. But thanks for the insight.

Arguably, the Alpha King Titan is easier than the Beta King Titan because of the Mega Mek, which is easily able to defeat the Alpha King Titan (with some help). The Mega Mek can't be used for the lower difficulties though. You can get a Mega Mek by fusing 4 Meks together with a M.O.M.I. which can be obtained by defeating the Beta King Titan.

Ah got you. Ya plan has really been to use all titans but recently got a 140 giga tame so have been going giga happy lmao.

It's actually a good idea to bring all 3. Just make sure you have the desert titan biting his fist when he does the nuke attack (if he succeeds, it will one shot everything in the arena, titans included). The forest titan can shield himself from damage, making him a great tank.

Now we have diverted a bit from original question. Is there a tame limit. Only seemed to be a half measure answer on this.

Also, do all dinos get wiped and items list at end or way to save them?

Thanks for the pointers

just be aware that once you beat the Alpha King Titan (aka the mecha king titan) the Mega Mek will self-destruct...also no matter what difficulty you fight the king titan on, all tamed titan's take x6 damage from the king titan
