Forges not working

Hi, I'm trying to use my forge on singleplayer game on aberration. When I put fuel in my forge it doesnt work, I'm not able to light it. I have a few mods but none of them should make a difference.

Normal forge and I've tried sparkpowder, fungal wood and wood.

perhaps it's bugged. try building a new one or moving it to another location

No, I've placed new ones and it still doesnt work, I've tried SS ones and vanila ones, thats not the issue.

are you running any stack mods or mods that modify items?

also are you able to place a bed next to the forge? might be related to an old bug where the forge thinks it's underwater. a bed will not allow placement underwater but the forge will..

SS, awesome spyglass, kraken better dinos and two other that I've deleted but it didnt change anything. Might be something to do with SS but I'm not giving up my house just cuz of the forge. Its problaly that underwater thing, I built my base on top of a lake so game might thing its underwater, any way of fixing it?

try building another level on your base with pillars and ceilings. place the forge up there

Yeah, I'll just place the forge in another place as all the rest of the things works. Appreciate all the help, man!

Hope you get it working. Haven't had this bug personally but it could be a local single player mode problem. I got tired of all the bugs in single player mode and rented a couple servers to play on..
