corrupt heart farming
finally found one of the artifacts and the console that goes with it but i need 100 corrupted hearts as part of the tribute.... i've been doing purple OSDs since they started working and only have about 35. wiki says tougher the creatue, more chance of heart dropping... i'm fighting dozens of corrupted wyverns at levels 10 times the max lvl setting each drop too (they start coming first wave). is there a better way to get these hearts? tempted to go for a walk into the danger zone but i don't think my giga could handle that many corrupted gigas :/

Just kill big corrupt dinos, that's the only way.

i have killed a hell of a lot of them. just curious if killing them with a particular tame or maybe in particular events (osd, veins) or the other way around (more for kiling wild ones) would improve the rate. atm, it seems disproportionate, tribute is 10 rex arm (5 min), 10 vertebre (5 min), 100 corrupted hearts (only reached a third of that after days of fighting the highest level corrupted in the land) :/

The problem I was having, was that for some reason, corrupted hearts weren't being looted by their corpse being eaten. In order to get mine I had to dismount, and manually check each corpse after killing it. They don't appear to be creature harvestable or remain behind in bags for some reason.

ok, worked it out, it is the inventory bug we've had since extinction came out where if the inventory slots are full, the game ignores partially empty stacks. just did a element vein (much easier than purple drop pod) and got nearly quarter of the hearts i need just by emptying my giga when its inventory slots were full. otherwise once the slots are full, your tame doesn't pick up any more even if you only have 3 hearts in a stack :/

that is a lot easier than doing it manually lol. thanks for the suggestion. and that is the solution, i managed to get 98 corrupted hearts from an element vein XD
