Can I use them to power tek buildings?

Things that will use batteries like the dino leash yeah. But I was disappointed the cryofridge didn't charge them, although you can put batteries in there for some reason.

Pretty sure it's because you can use the batteries to power the cryofridge, but the fridge just "charges" cryopods.

I think what he means is that the cryofridge doesn't refill the timer for the cryopods, just pauses them. Though I don't see why anyone would need to though since you get at least 5 from blue orbital supply drops and up that are always fully charged.
