Dino not taming (from not eating)

I just knocked out a yutyrannus from the cave in the under forest area. Hes down about 800 food and he still has not taken a bite. Has anyone else had a taming issue like this yet? I tammed a Yutyrannus before and it didnt take him that long to take a bite. I took the prime meat on and off again, I put just regular meat and not change. Ive restarted my server and updated to 287.102 and still no change. Is it just a bug? I might just say "F" it and force tame, starting to piss me off lol.

I've faced that problem already. In my case I took and put back the food in its inventory then waited a bit and he started to tame. I hope that works for you as well.

if was a yuty from a cave i think you can't tame dinos from caves, they are more strong than the normals, you only can kill wild dinos in caves
(i think you can tame some achatinas more strong than 150 atleast in the past, not sure now)

Ive tamed Allo's from the cave no problem. Maybe not Yutrannus?

The Yutrannus is only level 20 btw

if it was knocked out by something else than a dart/clud/narco arrow etc... that could explain.

was there a scorpion or something that could have dealt the last torpor on it instead of you ?
(also gaz traps don't allow taming but i guess you already know that)

Have had the exact same problem trying to tame a giag and and a raptor ! neither of them want to eat a thing !

I tried taming a wolf that wandered out from the ice titan cave, knocked it out and threw some prime meat on it.. and nothing. It was only level 145, so not above the normal range. I wanted it because of the pretty Easter coloration. Bummed.
