If you have it set to ANY, they have a WAY higher change to make randomly better quantity items and it could be better gear, but it depends on the gacha crafting level (if this is really low, you will get almost nothing)
Only level up their crafting level.
Plus they have be nerfed alot, so its not really the best way to get gear now

"My current theory is:Quality drops = RNG + crafting skill
So higher crafting skills helps, even past 140% i'm seeing more and more quality drops from all types, pellets boost the crafting skill until a crystal drops.
More crystal drops = better shot at quality crystal
So based on that feeding it building parts seems to be the way to go if you want quality crystals from them.f you want materials from them with a shot at getting gear every so often, feed it stone or metal."
