Is wood burning too long for anyone else since the update?

I have noticed that when I’m trying to farm charcoal using wood in campfires it takes several times longer than 30s for even one piece of wood to convert. Is this something wrong with the server I’m on or is it something to do with the update?

just timed it and it took 10 minutes to burn ONE wood.

I just lay down 4-8 campfires and then remove the charcoal and refill with wood when I see they're not burning anymore. It is slow if you need ammo quickly no doubt.

i'm on an unofficial server i share with my friends. i wouldnt mind if it was 1 minute ir 2 but its TEN WHOLE MINUTES. seems a litttle rediculous.

Did you modify any of the settings some change wood burn time.

Yeah should be 30 seconds per piece not 10 minutes.

not any that i know of. and im pretty sure there are no sliders for bun time

before the update it was working fine but it just messed up upon returning to the server.

Did you adjust your fuel consumption rate? making this slower will also slow charcoal creation.
