They also get sad when they're attacked or hit and it takes them a while to get back to being happy again.
Also after being in cryopods it seems take them a while to start producing again.

According to the wiki, Element is his favorite food. Snow Owl Vomit is his favorite Kibble, but it eats anything.
Also According to the wiki, if a Gacha is sad, it only gets normal again, if you mate boost it. IF its mate-boosted, you have to re-introduce his fellow. (e. G. break the mate-boost first.)

Edit
NOTE: Gachas are solitude creature, except when they have one (and only one) mate with them. If there is a same gender gacha within 12+ foundation range, they will become 'sad'; other than their facial expression, they will refuse to look directly at the survivor if "Ally-Looking" is on, they will not pick up resources dropped near them (they will make an expression with their head turned away in front rather than grabbing it), and they will not produce crystal or eat anything in their inventory even if Stone or other resource/item are placed inside.
Also, even if the Gacha of the same gender leaves the foundation range, the previous Gacha with the said gender will remain sad unless reintroduced to the opposite gender Gacha. (i.e breaking their current mate boost)
Note that baby/juvenile/adolescent Gacha ignores these effect until they are adult, and adults ignores this state towards babies, even if they came from different parents.

Ok i'm SORRY if this is a necro
I just need some advice here;
I have a big gacha herd, 1st gen pair, 2nd gen pair, and i got a new female to pair with my 3rd gen male.
She's sad but the 2 other females are happy.
Gachas don't suffer from not having friends, do they??? :(
