Whats the point of crystal wyverns...

You can't Transfer them, and theyre worse than regular wyverns. Is there something about them that make them worth the effort?

Yes i mean the bite attack. And the tail in face i a little bit annoying. :D

I killed and tamed with one of my tribemembers some hours crystal wyvern (max wild lvl 150) till we got wyvern with that stats:

best stats before breeding for Blood: 43/43/43/38/45/46 (yesterday i got the first baby with all stats on one wyvern.)

best stats before breeding for Tropical: 44/40/46/51/47/48 (will take some more time to breed all the stats and my prefered colors together.)

(HP/stam/ox/food/weight/dmg)

So you see ~46 isnt very rare.

In a previous post you say they are FASTER.
Have you tested it with your tribemate or is it just a personnal feeling?

I tested 4 dinos, start+end at a mountain:
lightning wyvern (slowest)
crystal wyvern (slow)
snow owl well ridden with sky diving (fast)
tropeognathus with afterburner step 2 (only a little bit faster than snow owl, but 100% chill factor)

Your mistake is: You can change the Cuddle multiplier, which can get (in my case) even a raptor up to 10k health and 1k Damage.

Simply put for me...
Wyverns have the turning radius of a School bus with flat tires in the mud and the engine turned off.
Crystal Wyverns fly beautifully.

So a regular wyvern can do more damage, the Crystal Wyvern actually lands the hits in the first place without needing the entire map to maneuver into position.

its been a lil while for the official map being out but to add to this- you cant breed super crystal wyverns, we found a 195 blood egg, hatched into triplets (1 male 2 female) breeding them gives us eggs which always hatch to 195 babies. we havent tried breeding 2 passive tamed ones yet, but thats in the next couple days. crystal wyverns are faster, turn better, are a little bit smaller, but do less damage than regular wyverns (but the special attacks are different, so im only saying less damage in terms of the normal bite), BUT on normal rates the max you could hatch a regular wyvern was 190, on here you can tame a 150 which will be 224, or find eggs max level is 225. not sure if the lower damage would get closer to being even to regular wyverns with the 35 more max levels. tropical has a mild dot and slight knockback with its hydro cannon like special attack, and get a speed buff when you touch water (lasts 30 seconds). ember get a fire breath attack that burns which is supposidly a smaller cone but longer range than a fire wyvern, and the damage goes up with a rage-like meter the more you use it. blood wyverns are where its at, as their special attack does damage and heals for some of it (lifesteal) plus when they eat a corpse they regain some health too. currently, a tropical wyvern with the water buff is the 2nd fastest flier in the game (beaten significantly by a tropeo w/ the rocket boost), and third place are the other wyverns. griffins, rock drakes, snow owls are slower in a straight line, but the dive can push them ahead (but going up and down to get that speed means less distance, remember speed is distance over time), but a tropeo is much faster and their speed comes from gas and not stamina.

We have boss rexes with 1360 melee and over 40K in health. Base. Before imprinting.

It will take time, but it will happen.

On Unnoficial, anyone with some Element, an SS Mutator, and decent breeding rates can make it happen extremely fast.

Except one factor of speed see nooblets youtube video about how much faster crystal wyverns are by default without touching the water and then that much faster with touching the water.
