Has anyone found plant z seeds on crystal isles?

ive tried hanging out next to several different plants like I would on aberration but I cant get any seeds to spit out.

i don't recall there being any....only plant species x and possibly Y but i never been able to get Y( i don;t know how the plant works or if it works on the Isle)

so, they probably are just for decoration and might still have their healing effect, but they dont open up and pop out those lovely seeds... i will go and try to feed X or Y seeds to the featherlights, ive done it before but the server had mods, im not sure if it was possible thanks to them or is just an alternative in case Z doesnt work.

I even tried using a therizinosaur, thinking maybe they work like rare flowers do on The Center. The theri did its harvest thing, but only came up with fiber, plant species x seeds, and rare flowers. The species z plant didn't react at all.

We can still tame featherlights with mushrooms, but it'll never be as effective if we can't get species z seeds.

Can't tame light pets. Can't tame basilisks. Can't tame mantis.

Wouldn't be surprised if I missed something.

ive heard that they are working on the cave system where Rockdraes will live,
[edit: the custom map had those caves, the ark team closed them so they _are_ working on that]

and you already can tame lightpets,
the featherlights are tamed with auric mushrooms and are found top right biome (these bubbles freak me out lol)
and glowtails are found in that cave in the flying mountains where the dragon statue is (artifact of the ...?) they like ascerbic shrooms.

Maaaybe Basilisks take dragon eggs aswell, like the crystal dragon eggs. didnt try it, but ive seen it with mods, might be implemented here?
and for the mantis: in many reciepes, deathworm horns are handled like rhino horns. might give that also a try. But youre right, havent found a deathworm in the desert yet.

I've managed to tame a featherlight with the mushrooms but when I tried the glowtails they would not accept anything but seeds and to stand there and feed them 150+ seeds is just umm silly

when did you catch them? for the last 2 weeks I've gone to the area with them, found them and tried feeding each kind of mushroom, it never gives the message to feed them till I put the Y seeds on my bar and they will take them

went back out, collected over 100 narco mushrooms, went to the caves the glowtails still would not let me feed them. Killed the 4 that were there, waited for respawn and tried again, still would not take the food. Must be bugged on my server.. least I got the featherlights.

Weird thing on my server. None of the plants worked on my server, not even the ones in the rock drake caves. However, I added Simple Spawners to get Rock Drakes in their normal area. Since Simple Spawners also has placeable plant species z plants, I put one down next to one of the normal ones, initially as a replacement for the ones that don't work. As soon as the Simple Spawner plant went down, both plants started acting like they should, as did all the plants in that cave. The same thing happened with one of the single plants in the swamp. As long as there is a Simple Spawner plant nearby, the plants work. If I pick up the spawner plant, they stop working.

(As an aside, as soon as the rock drakes started spawning in, the nests and eggs immediately started spawning in, like normal. I didn't need to use the Simple Spawner nests to get the eggs.)

Haven't heard anything of this sort. The most I've seen was that the spawns are likely being tweaked much like it was on ragnarok (which took almost a year) when they drastically adjusted and fixed low population areas like the mountain near the desert to the west of dunes or many spots in the redwoods.

I am highly skeptical of them even being interested in adding much of anything else to be frank. Why didn't they add ANYTHING in the floating island cave where crystal drakes were? Why is the volcano absolutely pointless now (floating islands are mostly barren and pointless anyway due to lack of important resources)? They didn't even remove nests. Even the northeastern island where the floating water globes and lightning are is relatively empty compared to the mod version, which was extremely dangerous.
