Can't tame Crystal wyvern with crystal

i just can't feed it i have crystal in last slot but it won't show that i can feed it

They don't eat normal crystal. You need the special kind.

They do eat normal crystal actually.

Just the ones in the desert are all Heirs and can not be tamed even though it says to feed them.

According to the Wiki they can only be tamed using Primal Crystal

like 70% of the high lvl ones cannot be tamed for some reason it doesn't even say that you can feed them. Not desert/heir

Having the same issue. Honestly, as a server host, I believe in effort given equals reward deserved (take that with a grain of salt). One of my players was having similar issues, worked for over 1.5 hours on a level 50 , 300 crystal, nothing. I ended up (force) taming it for him and just walking the other way whistling. Im hoping the fix the system soon.

You can't tame over lvl 15 with 4x taming with regular crystal. you need primal crystal to them em

I have come to a similar conclusion. On Official Small Tribes, you cannot tame above lvl 50 with just crystal, according to H.O.D. Gaming, rates are 3x taming.

Best way is to get a lvl 15 to 50, scout around for an Alpha, kill it, use the Primal Crystals to tame lvl 150. The Alphas are actually easy to kill.

Instead of making a trap to tame the Crystal Wyverns, try grappling to it and stand on it's back. Then you can spam the 'E' key to feed it crystal as soon as you are able. When using crystal, the key is to feed it as soon as the prompt pops up. Using Primal Crystal, they do not lose taming %.

pretty sure its just bc some1 else has tried to tame them before,kinda like horses do on rag sometimes.

You can tame wyvern only after lvl 65, if you are lower you have to steal an egg

I have come across this myself, I believe I know what is causing this and I found a way around it. If you are 65 and you still cannot feed the wyvern it is because someone else tried to tame it and its still stuck with their taming %. The way I found out to get rid of this is to trap the wyvern, knock it out and let it wake up. After that you should be able to tame it. I have tried this and it has worked.

Also, DO NOT use regular crystal, use Prime Crystal
