using tek rifle tranq/ ammo with tek rifle

Hello. I am running the eternal mod on SE and want to equip my tek rifle with the tek rifle tranq/ammo. How is this done? I have dragging and dropping ammo in tek rifle but does not seem to work.
Any suggestions? What am I doing wrong? I do have element fyi.

OK I figured it out. I need to craft an Elemental Tek Rifle to use Elemental Ammo.
