Bioluminescence Tips? (Aberration)
So I'm playing Aberration for the first time, currently level 53. I wan't to take a trip in the bioluminescence biome, but I wan't to be careful. What level would be a good level to go down there (after hazard suit level of course) and what would be good things to bring? Any other tips are welcomed.

Bring Charge pets. And why would you need a hazard suit for the blue zone?

I thought the blue zone was irradiated? I may have been thinking of something else

Red zone is Irraditated. Blue zone the only ambient danger is Nameless.

Actually false, the bottom part of the blue zone is irradiated as well

South-West Blue zone, and I doubt OP is going to stumble into that area by mistake

Still then the freezing spores will kill you if you don't see them in time and a hazard suit protects you from them. These spores appear from the start of the blue zone. Not saying you can't go there without a hazard suit but a bit of caution is still recommended.

Just down some aquatic mushrooms

Get to level 57 to unlock Megalo saddle then go to the edge. I do believe they can spawn there. Once you get a megalo most things there won’t be a problem but just stay away from creatures that can hit the player cuz most likely they will kill you before the megalo can kill them. You can also get to lvl 72 for Spinos and imo they are safer cuz Karkinos, basilisks, and megalos can’t pick up/dmg the rider

Alright so sounds like I am going to bring a hazard suit just in case. I am also thinking of heading down there when I get a Karkinos, but would Megalo be a better idea? The strongest defense I currently have is a pack of Ravagers, would they be good to take to The Edge?

Someone else already said this, but bring a charge pet with lots of charge capacity, or the Nameless will get you the moment it goes out. Keep an eye on your pets charge level, so you aren't caught by surprise. If your pet does go out, I suppose you could try fighting the Nameless, but they are relentless, and if you aren't careful they may summon a reaper king, so keep that in mind. It may be wiser just to book it back to the Charge Zone.

Ravagers may be okay, depending on their level and how much fighting you intend on doing. Maybe having a ravager would be good in case you need a quick get away. I tend to take my karkinos when I go into the Blue Zone, but that is just preference because they can jump and grab things with their claws.

Ravagers are perfectly fine for blue zone. Just don't past purple, that's when you'll start getting close to red and radiation which ravagers aren't immune to. Be sure to use the attack my target command when engaging a megalo cause if you are first in, either you or the ravager you're riding is getting grabbed and chomped. Bring aquatic mushrooms and food, there are freezing spore zones that are hard to see, there will be little blue orbs that look almost exactly like the yellow ones from light bugs. The arthros might break your haz suit so its always good to have a back up. Carry a few sleeping bags as well, theirs nothing worse than dieing in blue and the only way to get back is run their naked with no light pet. I definitely recommend taming some megalos while you're their so bring some fence foundations, door walls, ramps and taming gear just in case you find a max or near max level one.

Lastly there are plant z and charge stations everywhere so charge light isn't an issue. Plant z are more preferable because they speed up healing so hang by one if your ravagers start getting low or you need to let your pet recharge. Plus you can get z seeds with out having to waste time since you need to stop anyways.

Pro tip. If your charge pet runs out go up to a glow bug and click E on it and it'll give 500 charge to your pet

Thank you for all the feedback!
