Frog + CP + Ragnarok

Is there any good way to farm CP with a frog on Rag? Is there a cave? Does going to the swamp do any justice? It seems only a few bugs spawn there.

Since I made a couple of Hives and got hold of honey I tamed some snails and just gather Achatina Paste from them. Before that I waged genocide on the bugs in the blackened area around the volcano and used all the chitin as an ingredient for Cementing Paste.

Beaver valley near viking bay is ur best bet for mass cp.

Beaver dams as others say is a much bigger/quicker source of cp.

Alternatively too killing mantis alot yields a pretty decent amount of chitin you can grind down too.

+1 for Mantis. Works on two levels cos it's easy organic polymer farming too.

As said beavers bay is great, just make sure you kill all of them before going into the dems.

Pretty often a miss one or two and its always the higher levels lmao

Yeah, especially the great big ones that they have on Ragnarok, I got 1400 CP out of one of those!

Additionally, you could just go to the lava area and just kill mantis, centepedes, dung beats, etc. There's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hundreds of them there!

What I do now is take flyer, preferably Argie/Griffin cos of their decent weight, fly above the dam and dismount so that they're 'hovering' above the dam still. Raid dam, grapple bird (or vice versa) then fly away :D

I use a wyvern to go for cp. Never even get off the wing just grab and run

Another good spot for beavers is out by the red ob .
Up in the redwoods theres a artifact tunnel , tons of beavers there .
Just be carefull for treecats..

I know im gonna kinda derail the thread but on rag Ive only found tree lions on ice. Have been looking a lot on redwood and couldnt find them, someday I was doing an ice wyvern egg run and found 2 of them

Best spot to use the frog if you want bugs is the redwoods between the lighthouse and the murder snow - the ants spawn thick in that whole area. The beavers are a better bet for mass CP, but if the frog needs a purpose then redwoods is the placve with the most bugs I've seen so far.

For the thyla's, try up around the lake just before the snow starts in that area. I killed a few lower levels and soon got a 135 and 145 mated pair. The tame was murder since snake eggs are just not spawning for some reason, only had 3 for kibble and the rest was mutton. Made for a real long tame on them. Also, the thyla isn't as all-terrain on Ragnarok for some reason, maybe the geometry of the rocks is messing with them. Been a lot of places we couldn't climb that looked like we should. Even the megalania has trouble in spots.

Ya know I never have an issue with CP between my 2 Deodicurus and the constant spawning of Titan Drones in my area attacking my dinos and being eaten by rexes I just log in to nearly 5k Chitin every morning and send out the Deos for a few thousand stone...
