Boss kill question

My wife and I are getting ready to fight a couple bosses and we had a quick question from the community. If an auto turret gets the final hit on the boss, will it still count? Would we still get the XP and ascension level unlocks?

You can't build in the boss arenas.
Unless some sneaky peaky mod lets you ofc, if it did it should still count as anyone in arena gets the engrams as it dies.

Rock on thanks! Yeah our server allows platform turrets and doesnt restrict any dinos from entering the arena.

Good luck with the bosses, i'v been doing it solo for a long time and currently on extinction readying up to fight another titan boss. Back when i was on the island i had imprinted turtles for all the bosses except dragon i used t-rexes due to my turtles getting stuck in lava. Scorched earth i used thorny dragons and anklos. I like to try other creatures for bosses as it adds excitement! but always include turtles as it brings back happy memories

i hope you have a lvl 7000 Giganotosaurus ;D without it it is impossible to kill a Boss in pairs or alone

What? Most of the bosses I've completed with just me and a mate. As long as you have a good dino army with decent saddles it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I'd recommend if its yoru first time doing the bosses, do them legit if it's a PVE server i will tell you this much, if you cheese the bosses, there is very little to do afterwards aside from build more. Whole point of PVE is to build up your dinos for that great boss fight, things such as hunting those max levels in the wild making the kibble to get the perfect tame and then ofc breeding. If you just go in there with turrets your gonna ruin the experience for yourself , trust me on that one. As for your original question im not sure i've never cheesed the boss with turrets before. Don't take my comment as being harsh or criticizing you on using turrets but rather as a friendly piece of advice

agreed the giga comment is nonesense. P.s pro tip use Therozino's for the dragon fight they won't take the damage that canivores do and can equal damage of rex if bred right

Not to worry, I have already killed most of the bosses on official servers, so that is not a problem. But now we are on a private server and wanting to play with the toys we have built.

Im not sure it would be possible to cheeze the bosses on our server. The only turrets available are plants, S+ ballista, S+ cannon and the ones from the steampunk mod. We wanted to bring our landship with cannon turrets for fun.

Also, our server has a full economy and RPG elements so I dont think that killing the bosses is our ultimate goal and then we are done. If anything, that is but one side activity. Thank you for the concern though.

No worries, in that case then it would be entirely down to how the admins of your server have setup the server as each unofficial server is different and some allow certain things whilst others don't, it would be best to have a chat with the server admins (perhaps they have a discord ? )
