ark genesis sp possible?

i heard missions are crazy in sp but im not sure why

im going to host my own private slightly boosted server on genesis but is that enough to beat the alpha bosses? if not, what makes the missions and bosses so hard?

why though? i havent played genesis much at all, bought it on release and played for an hour then quit ark lmao but im back into it

the question is if it is possible to do sp without insane boosted stats

Because... They are statistically stronger than island bosses? Do you want an explanation as to why the Devs made it this way? Because on that front, I know nothing.

bro its impossible to do solo, my friends and i could barely manage tbh. id reccommend using like the awesome tp mod to tp creatures in arenas and allowing turrets on a platform saddle like a turtle or some ♥♥♥♥ like that. I honestly dont see it becoming possible attempting to do alphas the vanilla way.

Gigas with 1k melee and 45k HP can do a lot of Alpha missions solo, but you need multiple Gigas fighting. There are some where luck comes into play, others where the Gigas get enraged and melt. Allowing platform building where you can load a Skiff with Tek turrets helps a lot, but if you do not throw a dino out and have "boots" on the ground, even though you kill everything, you will fail. Solo Alpha controller is also doable but very difficult, I did it twice with Theri 1.2k melee 25k HP and lots of cakes, 298 dmg shotgun and 149 dmg Tek rifle, flak close to 1k dura. Settings were Official Small Tribe settings on Unofficial server and months of breeding.

Depending on what you want to get out of it, there are cheat codes to complete mission after activating it. Personally, I have 1 character on Unofficial that has done everything in the game that I try to do as legit as possible, which I will continue with when next Genesis map releases.

Most alpha missions aren't impossible solo, but they do take some strong dinos. None of the land fight missions could stand up to a couple of my boss fighting rexes. For water missions had to breed mosas, or basilos I guess.

The arena missions are mostly impossible, solo on foot alpha difficulty. I used my privilege as unofficial to allow dinos to be thrown out from Dino Storage and/or to build turret towers to get past them, but legit? nah. Races just need practice.

What are you saying... You can solo the final boss with the right tames and strategy... I had a tough time killing Moeder but I beat her alone.

Ive been soloing ARK since Island and the only problem I had was defeating Rockwell and King Titan, all the other bosses I've soloed with 2.5xp, 2.5taming, and a 1hr breed for Rex. Its time conusming yes, but its no different than the long RPG's out there. And I enjoyed every single grind.

I think time might be an issue especially for something like the final boss which I have attempted once solo and had the boss at 75% HP of the final phase before getting killed but I think I would have run out of time. Maybe better mutated rexes (mine only had 5 mutations) would alleviate this problem. Now that the server is unlocked I can attempt with my much higher mutated dinos, so I will see how I go.

I have done Moeder alpha solo quite easily as that's just a matter of throwing dinos at it without any pathing issues but a lot of those alpha missions required travel and it might be a pain getting your army to path correctly within the time given, I recall the volcano missions especially have you going up quite narrow pathways.

All gamma and most Beta missions are easily soloable because there is less of an army to manage.

It's perfectly possible. The only question is how much time are you willing to put into breeding to stack the necessary mutations.

It's either that or use the console.

I would also have more than slightly boosted rates. Especially for things like taming speed, baby gestation, incubation, player stat values (I have zero interest in having to overspecialize my stats and then constantly mindwipe everytime I want to craft something), etc.
