first off i want to apologize if such question was asked here before, i couldn't find any relevant threads her to help me so had to create one.

I am a single player on Ark, I recently entered Tek tier and i am impressed with what there is to get, but the prices for most structure and gear maintenance are very expensive for a solo single player, i don't have boosted harvest rates either. so here's my question, is there any mods or game ini that i could use to reduce ALL Tek items price by half for all materials needed for Tek ? I know about ConfigOverrideItemCraftingCosts but i don't know how to modify it correctly and even doing it would take so much time to change every Tek item individually, so if anyone got the ini ready already please paste it in the comments :)

I want to have a clean play without cheating. except if it's absolutely a must to progress beyond a game breaking bug. like the skylord artifact now spawning for single player etc.

I have finished Island and Scorched Earth on Alpha.
Currently staying on island to explore the Tek tier before heading off to Aberration

There are mods that let you "buy" element or grow element.

Otherwise getting element is just repetitive boss fights. Unless you go to Aberration, Extinction, or Genesis.

Thanks for the mod. But my Problem isn't directly with element, as I can farm the Gorilla boss for that. i generally want to reduce each of the Tek materials price by half, whether it's black pearls or polymer, metal etc.

It's much easier to just get more element, than manually rewrite every recipe.

No mod for this because it's an ini setting.

It contradicts with my no cheating approach :/ but looks like it's the best alternative i can go for. i will give that mod a shot, thanks a lot!

Well then how is changing the recipes not cheating?

With the seeds mod, you have to get the resource first to be able to grow it. It just changed a bit of the gameplay from endless harvesting.

Your killing alpha bosses right? Those give a lot more element. Alpha squid and squid usually give me quite a bit of black pearls.

changing the recipes by half is more of an assist to single players like me, because Tek items are overpriced and are made for big tribes who can farm materials. changing it by half for single player should have been implanted by Devs as part of the single player settings honestly

I farm those as well whenever i find them. they are quite rare though.

tek is not for big tribes, you can easily get it solo...

Editing crafting recipies will work for almost everything Tek. Higher quality Tek equipment and meks BP's might be an issue though.

Alternatively you could breed gachas until you get black pear and element gachas, then build a plant Y farm, at that point, resources become basically irrelevant.
